Keyanow Child and Family Centre

Keyanow Child and Family Centre is a First Nations operated agency that provides child and family services to on-reserve residents from Lucky Man Cree Nation, Little Pine First Nation and Poundmaker Cree Nation with population ranging from 750 to 1000 people per First Nation, excluding Lucky Man Cree Nation. Keyanow Child and Family Centre is based in the urban Centre of North Battleford; this agency operates under the direction of a Board of Directors, which is guided by the Chiefs of each Community and one-voting Elder selected by the Chairperson.

Keyanow Child and Family Centre overall focus of the agency is on prevention and healing and the primary mandate is to ensure protection of children. Here are the following services, currently available through our agency: Child Protection, Prevention Services, Foster Parent Training, Promotional Community Committees, and Cultural Programming.
